Professional Experience

Bill Berkman is a member of Everview’s Advisory Council.⁴

Mr. Berkman is an entrepreneur and investor with extensive expertise in digital infrastructure, including wired and wireless telecommunications, data centers, related technologies, and the energy sector. He is the co-founder and former Co-Chairman and CEO of Radius Global Infrastructure, Inc. Previously, Mr. Berkman served as Co-Managing Partner at two successive private equity and growth investment partnerships: Associated Partners, LP, and its predecessor, Liberty Associated Partners, LLC. These partnerships, affiliated with Liberty Media Corporation, held controlling interests in communications infrastructure companies. Mr. Berkman co-founded and served as Chairman of Current Group, LLC, a company specializing in broadband communication and smart grid services for consumers and electric utilities. Additionally, he co-founded several other telecommunications companies, including Teligent, Inc. and Nextel Mexico.

Mr. Berkman currently serves on the boards of directors for The Partnership for New York City and the Partnership Fund for New York City.

An innovator in his field, Mr. Berkman holds numerous patents related to smart electric grid and communications systems. He is also a member of the Aspen Institute’s 2009 class of Henry Crown Fellows.

Mr. Berkman has previously served on the boards of several publicly traded companies, including CMGI, Inc., Empire State Realty Trust, IAC/InterActiveCorp, Liberty Satellite & Technology, Inc., and Teligent, Inc.
