Professional Experience

Komal Sankla is a Principal on the Investment Team at Everview.

Prior to joining Everview, Ms. Sankla was a Principal at Blackstone within its Blackstone Real Estate Debt Strategies (BREDS) business. While at Blackstone, Ms. Sankla executed on over $8 billion of investments across residential, industrial, hospitality, office, and other sectors. Ms. Sankla was involved in investments spanning across the capital structure and risk spectrum, including the origination and acquisition of mortgages, mezzanine debt, preferred equity, and other debt instruments on behalf of the BREDS High-Yield Debt Funds and Blackstone Mortgage Trust (NYSE: BXMT). In addition, Ms. Sankla was also involved with the restructuring of distressed investments.

Ms. Sankla serves as a member of the board of directors of Everview Residential Finance Holdings and Encore Finance. She also serves on the Advisory Board for the University of Michigan Weiser Center for Real Estate. Ms. Sankla was featured on the Forbes 30 Under 30 in finance list for 2024.
